MIT Enterprise Forum Organizing Committee of Bulgaria and the Center for Entrepreneurial and Executive Development (CEED) present the MIT Enterprise Forum Global Broadcast:
Financial Markets: Outlook 2007

Money. You need it. They have it. How do you get it?
For a company, this is the elemental nature of capital markets, but at a global level, investors drive opportunities. It's the successful entrepreneur who knows the forces that shape investment decisions.
At "Financial Markets: Outlook 2007" our world-class panel will examine at a macro level the flow of money for the coming year, answering such questions as:
- What are the outlooks for the VC, public and M&A markets?
- What is the general outlook for the economy - local, national, and global - for 2007?
- What structural and regulatory issues will pull and shape the capital markets over the coming year?
- How will all of these affect a company's financial strategies?
The featured US panel moderated by Liz Claman, anchor of CNBC's Morning Call, includes:
- Axel Bichara '88, senior partner at Atlas Venture
- Benjamin Howe, CEO of America's Growth Capital
- Frederick Lane, chairman and CEO of Lane, Berry & Co. and
- Deborah Kuenstner, managing director of research at Fidelity Investments.
Through dialogue amongst the panelists, attendees will hear real-world case studies, learn principles and best steps to follow, and how different sectors necessitate different approaches.
The MITEF Global Broadcast will be followed by a Bulgarian panel discussion.

The Bulgarian Q&A session after the broadcast will focus on:
- The Bulgarian capital market, and
- The opportunities for capital and venture funding for Bulgarian startups.

Mixer and glass of wine: 6 p.m.

Participation fee: cash at the door - 35 lv., payment in advance via bank wire transfer - 30 lv. payable to CEED. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability. The fee covers the expenses to organize the broadcast and the networking mixer. CEED and MITEF are both non-profit organizations.
